Bury Me Alive is an AU RP set in season five. Lucifer has just been freed from his cage due to Sam’s successful attempt to kill Lilith, and things are heating up as the apocalypse is beginning. The brothers have decided to go their separate ways—Sam to live a “normal” life and Dean to continue on hunting—and Castiel is busy trying to find God, who the Archangel Raphael has claimed to be dead. While all this is happening there appears to be a new threat going Heaven’s way other than a civil war—a group of fallen angels, referred to as Watchers, have reappeared.
The group hadn’t been seen by the angels of Heaven since the Great Flood, which had been an attempt by God to wash away the Watchers and the Nephilim that ultimately failed. Nowadays, while the Nephilim cease to exist, the Watchers now have come out of hiding, and they want one thing—The Akashic Records. These records are described as containing all knowledge of human experience and the history of the cosmos and are kept locked away safely inside Heaven. With their hands on this knowledge they could literally tear the Universe apart and rebuilt it to their own wants, which includes a rule over Heaven and Earth. The leaders and 200 angels who call themselves Watchers are a force to be reckoned with, and the archangels in Heaven are tense. Their plan is to strike Heaven while God is absent and the loyal angels are in turmoil. It has become such a concern that even deities of other religions, who share knowledge of the records, have started to assist in guarding them.
With Lucifer on the loose, Heaven disorganized, and the Watchers awaiting their chance, mortals on Earth are stuck on their battlefield. Hunters are beginning to band together in hopes of surviving the Apocalypse and putting it to an end. In this battle, everyone is a soldier.
