A mindful glare was given to a fisherman from another village, noting that he was the person that bumped into him - didn't even say sorry, and also looked at him with a rude glare. He quickly mumbled, turning his gaze away from the man, uttering a word of apology before walking away. Now.. why would a person that was the victim of a problem apologize? With each person, it's different, and for him.. he just wanted the conflict to be solved as quickly as possible, so he can get to what he was here for. The real reason. He would tell each person that he was here because the Captain Guard of Sabaku told him to get more supplies, but in reality, he was off on vacation. There seemed to be no problems with the other guards back at the small village, and the people traveling from and to there seem to be in good condition despite the hot desert. There was no need to be there for a certain amount of time, before he would suddenly be whisked off to another order given to him by the Captain. But the Cherry Blossoms distracted him - each time he would walk even one step, a single petal would fall onto his hair, shoulder, or arm. It was annoying, but he kept picking them off and dropping them to the ground as if it was nothing. They looked rather nice, after all.
He ( sooner or later ) arrived in front of a shop, looking at the sign that was displayed right in front of it's windows. Apparently, it was a "sweets shop"; something that he had learned while being in the Academy. It also served as a cafe - just in case people wanted to sit down and chat away before leaving. It seemed like a quiet place: with cushioned chairs and separate rooms if people wanted a quiet place to read and such. There was even a few fire-places, and a rack of books if one didn't bring some from their home. Interested by it's looks and invitation, he walked into the shop+cafe, which when he opened the door, a bell would jingle. The person that manned the place looked up and waved to him, while the people sitting around on the chairs simply gave him a look, some a nod. Gael padded around his pockets, feeling the money in his pockets rub against each other. 'Good thinking.' He thought, walking up to the front before clearing his throat.
"I would like a uh..."
He scanned the many things listed upon the over-hang. There was so many to choose from! Some of them sounded good, some of them sounded bad. He couldn't be the judge, and he often found himself in these situations. With nothing to choose from, it wouldn't be surprising if someone just walked up and chose something for him..

~Come what May, I will always be myself~
Colette had to blink a few times, she just couldn't believe where she was. First a cold frigid place, and now a huge city that had many people bustling pass her. It kind of reminded her of home in a small way, but not so much. The blond seemed to be so lost and she was certain she sticked out like a sore thumb among everyone in this city. So she took a deep breath and acted as normal as she could, pushing pass a few people as they walked in the opposite direction. Only glancing for a moment at their clothing seeing some of them were dressed as if they were royalty, and as she was distracted she stumbled back into someone and both went falling to the ground. Quickly turning to see who she banged into, Colette quickly apologized and helped the young woman she knocked over. Of course the woman glared to the girl, and shooed her away not waning her help. And stormed off in quite a huff. Wait what had just happened, Colette was only trying to be nice and helpful.
She quickly noticed some people speaking about her, as she turned and made a run into the crowd heading up into another area. "What did I do wrong, I said sorry to her." Looking down at the ground she tryed to hold tears back, wishing her friends were here with her. Feeling a small breeze blow pass her, her eyes caught the sight of pink petals. Glancing up she reached out a hand to catch one of the petals, seeing it float down and land on her palm. What sort of petal was this, she had never seen something to soft and feel like silk. The petal soon flew away and downwards towards another part of the city, deciding to follow it she took in some of the sights.
This city seemed really big, much warmer and busier then that other place. With her hands behind her back, Colette soon came upon a shop that had some sweets on display in the window. Looking up at the sign she gave a big smile, it was a sweet shop and she was craving something sugary right now. Looking in through a window she noticed the layout of the place, the chairs seemed to be cushioned with a few rooms seperate from the main area. It was decided she was going to get something munch on, there was lot's of time to ask about where she was and how she got here. Opening the door the blond stepped inside, only getting a few glances her way.
Seeing someone at the front, Colette noticed he seemed to be having a hard time on what to choose. Coming up beside him she glanced up towards the over-hang and tapped a finger on her chin, everything looked so delicious. "You know the strawberry shortcake sounds good". It had been the first thing her eyes layed on when she glanced to the over-hang, and it was sweet yet simple to make. Colette herself had cooked it once or twice before, though when it came to Raine's cooking.....you better run away.

All the tall male did was blink, hearing someone saying that he should try the strawberry short cake. He blinked again, turning his head to stare at a shorter blond girl with blue eyes, in which her essence felt.. familiar. He would often feel that when around certain people - knowing that some of them are angels, yet this one.. could she be? He wasn't quite sure, so he didn't automatically assume unless she would ask something about that. He also wasn't very comfortable with people coming up behind him and saying stuff, especially if he didn't know them at all. It often made him feel as if he let his guard down: countless years of training in the Academy always made him cautious of his surroundings, and everyone. Even his best friends, whom he knows might just betray him at any moment. The man turned his head back around, looking at the clerk ( person in the front ), then nodding his head in apology. "I would like the strawberry shortcake, please." He replied, with manners that simply did not exist in this world.
People in this city were often rude and un-apologetic. If a single person from the outside world would ever try to bump into them, they would give them a hurtful glare before storming off with a huff. If it was from another person, then they wouldn't even do that; and shake it off as if it was nothing. He cursed underneath their breath, planning to consult with the head of this city and talk to him/her about the personality of the people. They aren't going to get a lot of tourists and/or people coming to live here if the residents have a nasty attitude, nor that they'll get a lot of business if one starts to spread bad things about the people. After his order was through, he grabbed the shortcake that was resting upon a plate, before turning over to the girl. "Want something? I'll buy it for you." He replied, having enough money in his pockets for another person. If she wanted the same thing as himself, then he will order that. If she wanted something different, no biggie. He seemed to be acting nicer around this girl, but for what reason? Maybe they were similar in some way, and didn't know yet?
If she didn't want anything, then he wouldn't whine and complain over it. He looked down at his own clothes. They were completely black, save for some silver, gray, gold, and red. His own eyes were two completely different colors - his right was red, while his left was green. That was probably why he got so many stares the moment he entered the store just minutes ago, and still received some from a few people even with his back turned to them. Gael stepped to the side, so the girl would be able to stand in front of the counter.. and order if she wanted to.

~Come what May, I will always be myself~
Colette just continued to stare at the over-hang, a small smile on her lips. She then turned her head to look at the person, before feeling the sense of something familiar. Something about him was making her angel senses fly off the radar almost as if he was one himself, except he didn't feel like an angel like her. No he seemed slightly different. Maybe she was just thinking silly, he certainly couldn't be an angel.....could he. Turning her eyes back to the clerk and stepping to the side abit, she just waited for him to order the shortcake. It had been something she just picked out, and was a little surprised he agreed with her decision and asked for it. Colette was glad to help him with his sticky situation of deciding on a sweet, but she also didn't want to come off as pushy either. Besides he probably found it odd that a random stranger came up to him, and just pointed out a simple sweet.
Colette thought back to that woman she had backed into, not all the people in this city were like that. Were they? She only hoped that they didn't go to the ruler of this city and tell them about her. Colette didn't want any trouble or to be caught, she still had alot to find out and questions she wanted answered. Her thoughts snapped back to reality as she looked up to the man, he asked her if she wanted something and even offered to buy it for her. "You would really do that, I was just trying to help you decide is all. But if you insist, I would love a strawberry shortcake". It looked so good in all it's spongey goodness, with strawberries in it's layers and whipped cream on top. Though why was he being so kind to her she had just arrived in this world, could it be because she was getting that familiar sense of another angel.
Taking a closer look at his attire, she could see the silver, grey and gold also red and black. Colette then glanced down to her own clothing of medium blue and white with the gold buttons on her chest part. But what really stood out about him was his eyes, his right red and left green. Oh wow it was rare for someone to have those sorts of eyes wasn't it, feeling ashamed she turned her face away not wanting him to think she was being rude and staring. She glanced back seeing him step the side letting her have access to the counter, giving an excited smile she instantly told the person at the front what she wanted. "One strawberry shortcake please, with extra strawberries".
