Human Form:

Dragon Ascendant - A dragon made of energy burst out the ground and causes an upward strike.

Flame Dragon - summons forth a ball of flames as a dragon of the flames strike his target.

Punishing Beast - Slashes and sends a blast of energy in the shape of a loin’s head.

Crimson Wolf - slashes forward with red energy over his blade and appears behind his target.

Razor Fang - throws his sword as it stabs the target.

Radiant Wing Form:

Light Spear - Spins his blades around him with a blast of red energy.

Havoc Heaven - Thrusts his sword forward and slashes as he hits the targets.

Blade Death - Slashes and than throws his sword as it stabs his enemy as it spins for one last attack before the blade returns to duke.

Shock Thrust - Sends a blast of energy across the ground.

Punishing Divine Flash - Fires six beams of energy in a wide range.

Shining Chaos - Throws his sword as it spins around Duke, slashing who ever his close to him.

Punishing Decent - Makes the floating blades around him to spin around rapidly, slashing who ever is in range.

Moonbeam - jumps into the air and throws his sword at his enemy from above releasing a blast of energy.

Around - Spins his sword in front of him, attacking his target if in close range.

Spells:

First Aid - heals himself with magic

Healing Circle - Summons a divine circle around him and slowly heals him within this area.

Bloody Howling - summons a circle of darkness and release a stream of darkness under the target.

Tempest - summons a giant twists surging with energy as a bolt of lightning strikes his target.

Holy Rain - summons holy energy to rain down on the area to strike his foes.

Holy Lance - summons forth a circle of light under his foe as 9 lances of light strike them down.

Mystic Artes:

Big Bang - A massive explosion caused by a surge of energy made above his enemy.

Brave Vesperia - When activated, Duke charges up a tower of energy, he then slashes the foe. In the wake of this blow, he releases four elemental spheres that violently converge. Duke follows up with an uppercut. While airborne, he turns and throws his sword at the foes below him. Once he falls to the floor, he charges and slashes at the foe in the same manner of a final slash and finally, he rises up to the heavens and hits the foes with a massive blast of energy. The final portion of the arte also restores Duke's health.

History:

Duke Pantarei was an important figure in the Great War in which humans and the Entelexeia fought. He fought alongside the Entelexeia Elucifer so that humans and the Entelexeia could live in peace. Although they were victorious, some humans no longer trusted the Entelexeia and executed Elucifer. After this betrayal, Duke lost all faith in humanity and cut all ties with them becoming somewhat of a recluse. He only appeared when he felt it was necessary for the protection of the world and the Entelexeia.

He wields the long lost sword Dein Nomos, which is able to control the flow of aer and is proof of imperial lineage. Later in the game, Duke hands this sword over to Yuri Lowell in hopes that he will fight for identical goals. Eventually however, Duke feels that their goals do not coincide and takes the sword back. This change of heart occurs when the barrier of Zaude is destroyed and the Adephagos once again threatens the world. Duke then ressurrects Tarqaron with the intention of trading all human life for the destruction of the Adephagos. Yuri and the others resolve to put a stop to his plans by offering all the blastia in place of humanity. Duke, however, longs to return the world to the rule of the Entelexeia as recompence for the slaughter of Elucifer and fights against Yuri and the others, serving as the game's final boss. After Yuri proves victorious, Duke is finally persuaded by their perseverance and assists them with the aid of Dein Nomos, thus destroying the Adephagos. It is unknown what kind of life Duke leads after this event, although the end credits show him surrounded by all sorts of animals, possibly implying he lives with nature rather than humans, still unable to trust them.
