REACH ACROSS THE BARRIERS OF TIME
"When the storm draws nigh
Dreams will shatter before your eyes
Know that you're not alone
When the battle starts
I will comfort your restless heart
You'll know that you are home
When your stars stop shining
Endless vines around you winding
Know that you're not alone
I will give my all
So your tears will no longer fall
Down, down on Sorrow's stone...
Know that you're not alone..."
I SING THIS LULLABY FOR YOU

WISH UPON A STAR
History:
Ever since he was a child, Melodie had always been ridiculed by his own parents about how they wished he was a girl instead of a boy. Much less, a gay boy. He'd often get yelled at for many things, even if he was doing nothing wrong. Truthfully, it broke his young fragile heart. So at a young age, he decided to run away, with nothing more than a few precious items and the clothes on his back. He ventured deep into the city, not really sure of where to go, or where he COULD go. All he knew was that he wanted to get away from his awufl, awful parents.
Soon though, he was much too tired to carry on, and he hadn't eaten that whole day, so it was draining his energy gradually. Finally, he had to stop, sitting against the wall in an alleyway. He didn't mind being tired. He didn't mind being hungry. But what really got to him was the cold hard fact that he was hurting inside. To live knowing that his parents didn't love him, and probably no one else would, caused him to break down crying. He tried to think of happier things, but it always lead back to that sad, disheartening pain in his chest.
An hour had gone by, and he'd tired himself out from all the crying, coming to fall asleep on the ground. And being the way children are, they're very difficult to awaken when they're exhausted. So when he did wake up, he found himself in a brightly lit room, lying on a couch. He looked around to find several older furs surrounding him, looking at him with worried expressions on their faces. Why was that? Were they taking pity on him? No. The look in their eyes were much warmer than simple pity. What was it?
One of the men with golden eyes and long, black hair spoke up. "Are you alright, little one?" Being so tired, Melodie could only give a light nod in reply. He wasn't entirely sure what was going on, so of course, he was a bit apprehensive about speaking. A sandy-tan haired male around the age of 20 sat by him, gently placing a hand over his head. "Oh my. You're burning up, sweety. Go get me a wet cloth, will you? He may be sick." Looking around and hearing this, the young boy really wasn't certain of what was going on. But it had become clear that the older males weren't there to harm him.
An hour later, they asked him why he was out in the city all by himself. At first, Melodie didn't want to speak, but then he came to pour out his entire story: the pain that which his fragile heart was carrying. It was a very touching moment for them all, especially when they saw him cry. He was almost getting to the point where he would have said something dreadful, but then he stopped as he felt the warm embrace of the older man upon him. "There, there little one. You don't need to say anymore. If you're parents aren't willing to accept you for who you are, then we'll be your family." It was then, that Melodie felt something he'd never really felt before. A warm flooding sensation in his body. What was it? He answered his own question when he felt the slightest of smiles on his face, before breaking down crying once more. It was happiness.
As the years passed by, Melodie had indeed become a family with those men from that fateful night. As it turned out, they were all gay, male performers at a pub known as 'Elven Fantasies', as all of the males were either Elves or Half-Elves, a very popular nightlife club for males who wanted a true definition of 'exotic performances'. As everyone knows, all the other nightclubs out there are practically just a bunch of strippers on poles, but I digress. The black-haired Elf, Charles, and the Half-Elf Beige came to form a bond with Melodie, looking at him not as a guest, or an extra mouth to feed. But their own son. It was the same for the rest of the performers at Elven Fantasies as well. The way they looked at it, Melodie had become part of their family. Especially, now that he was sixteen, they had managed to pull some strings and got their manager to allow him to perform with them. How? Let's just say there were a lot of 'favors' involved. And end it there, shall we?
However, as of late, Melodie has been longing for something much more. Something new. Something exciting. And what better way to do that than by traveling? Yes, people! The young little Rent Boy performer wants to travel! And his little family was more than okay with it. They knew he was capable of taking care of himself. Especially when there are some lecherous people who can take 'No' for an answer. In any case, this kid's journey is just beginning...

INTO THE WEST
Sample RP:
It'd been about a month's time before Rain had left the Knapp, having been 'recruited' into Team Star Foxs' ranks. Now naturally, being a young lad who had high admiration for the team, to be overly excited would be an understatement. If any of you remember the game series Monkey Island, you could say he did a bit of a Guybrush Threepwood impression when he first arrived upon the Great Fox II. But that's neither here nor there.
Anyway, it's been a few days since his arrival, and things have surprisingly been running smoothly. It were almost as though he was aboard the Knapp again. Right now, he's currently been given the task of running maintenance checks on the ships' systems, from the engines themselves, to the hyperdrives, and even the energy output for other miscellaneous things.
But even with the excitement of becoming a part of StarFox's team, and working diligently to make a constant good impression, he'd often find himself much more exhausted than usual. What the case may be for this, he wasn't entirely sure. Rain figured maybe it was just from staying on the job just about all the time. It was especially evident of his fatigue whenever he got back to his room. A couple times, he was found passed out at his desk with the holo-pad in his grasp. Maybe he was just working too hard? But again, nobody really knew, so the subject wasn't too much to think about.
And now we turn to the story...
A rather loud and annoying ring was heard, and the young fox jolted upright from his desk. He looked at his clock briefly before giving the top a smack, turning it to snooze. Almost immediately, his head fell back to the desk with a loud THUD! That was gonna smart when he woke back up. Which wasn't too long, as the clock rang again, this time, displaying words that read 'COMBAT PRACTICE IN 5 MINUTES!!'. Looking up to see this, Rain actually woke up and bolted out of his room. If there was anything new he'd learned while aboard the Great Fox II, you never, NEVER miss combat practice. Otherwise, you get to run around the whole ship twenty times. And that's not fun.
