~Come what May, I will always be myself~
In just such a short time she has learned quite abit about Jade, the kind of powers he uses and how different they were from hers. And men flying around in chairs that was quite funny to say the least, back home they had ways of flying around as well but not on chairs. Colette had to bite her tongue lightly as she had almost let slip about her angel powers, hopefully he was too distracted to hear that last part of her sentence. Taking one last glance to the man who had been thrown near the canals, Colette felt herself lifted up and taken to a safer place as more men seemed to rain down from the sky. And there was that power again she had picked up before, who could have such power to blast so many men as far as the canals. Feeling herself let go, she gave a small nod to Jade. Yes it was better than being squished, and whoever did this must have been very angry.
Colette fixed her outfit abit before following after Jade, curious as to find who cast those artes. They soon came upon a girl, she looked young and maybe around her age. Or a little younger, the blond was in awe that someone like this could make so many men just fly so high and rain down near the canals. No sooner had Jade helped her up though and she had asked if she was okay, that the girl was up and walked over to her eying her necklace. And then came the questions, so many at a time that poor Colette felt like her head was going to explode. Putting her hands up she slowly backed away. "I.....uh....wait huh. Blastia, no it's not. What is a blastia...?" First fonic artes now blastia, this kept getting stranger.
As she continued to back up, Colette accidently slipped and fell back but quickly let her wings appear and righted herself as she hovered abit off the ground. She had been so surprised by this girl's questions that she lost her footing, but now she has revealed to them she is an angel. Her shimmering wings were different colors, such as pink, blue and purple. This was something she was trying to avoid but now that they've seen her wings what would they say about them. "Please don't startle me with so many questions, but it seems like my wings have been revealed". Oh well it was bound to happen sooner or later.

~ ~ "You never had a chance! Not even one percent!"Rita tilted her head as the girl said that the device around her neck was a Blastia. Well, it made sense though. All the Blastia were converted into spirits to kill of the Adephagos. Rita felt somewhat down again. She was hoping that there was at least one last blastia still active but it wouldn't be true. Rita looked up as the girl backed up. Before the Mage could say anything, the girl slipped and fell back. Rita was about to rush over to her but something stopped her.
The girl had sprouted....wings?... But these weren't ordinary wings, they were transparent and full colorful. They seemed to be made due to a high concentration of mana. What was the strange thing about it, she had seen those wings before. Rita began to think back and tried to remember. All she could remember was that it was a man with red hair and those wings. Rita and her friends had fought this guy and he was extremely hard to defeat. But that's all she could remember.
Rita snapped out of though as he ran over to the girl. "I'm sorry for that, Are you hurt? Rita asked as she held out her hand to her the Angel Girl up. If the girl did take her hand, Rita would have pulled her up. The Mage turned to the man. "No, I'm not from here. And if I was, creeps like them wouldn't be causing trouble for me or chasing me. They would've been blasted away a long time ago." [/b] Rita didn't not show any remorse for those idiots. They had what it coming when the messed with the Great Mage of Aspio. The men started to get up and looked around. "So you want to see if you can last round two this time?!"[/b] The men all got scared and ran off toward the town like a herd of frightened pigs. Ah, how Rita loved teaching idiots manners.[/blockquote]

Somewhat amused at the girls and Colette’s head was spinning he could tell perhaps his talk earlier didn’t help no less this strange girl hurrying up to her and saying all kinds of things about what? Would that be some type of item or artifact he would assume. However he was half way distracted with getting his bearings and scanning the town with his eyes, he also turned his attention slightly to his hand, yes he believed his spear to still be hiding there, so curious. he also wondered how powerful his artes would be in this world however wasn’t the type to just start flinging spells to satisfy this curiosity. Next however he turned his gaze back upon her as he heard her slip, though to even his surprise she paused herself in an unusual way, a pair of soft multicolored wing-like forms appeared from her back. They appeared more magical then physically coming from her back though real no less odd really. She spoke but this didn’t really change his current outlook, a smile creased his lips. “special indeed, hmm?” he spoke calmly and walked a bit closer and pushed his glasses up they shimmered faintly. Yes revealed was a name for it. “though it might be a hard to resist I will attempt to not try and dissect you my dear” was all he said about it.
Before his attention turned towards the other girl not from this world. “I see then, good to at least hear you are able to take care of yourself” he stated with a calm nod. His gaze turned to the men and then smirked as she shouted at them they all started to run away, ah he couldn’t figure out if this one reminded him more of Luke or Anise… hmm.
“well I do not think they will be bothering you again any time soon. You see my companion and I are in the same predicament as yourself, both from different worlds and judging by the way you reacted to her I would say though our words are similar they are all three very different as well. This is Colette, I am Jade Curtiss, a pleasure to meet you” he spoke politely, maybe because he didn’t have any reason not to.

~Come what May, I will always be myself~
That was too close, lucky for Colette that she had these wings but it would be nice if there was someone there to catch her. Such as Lloyd. And this girl who just started blurting out questions about her cruxis crystal made her feel a little uneasy, well more surprised actually. And seeing as the girl was about to rush over and help her, Colette instantly on impulse made her wings appear they always appeared in battle too. They didn't bother her anymore, not when she first got them two years ago and went on a journey to regenerate the world. And even so with the reunion of the two worlds Sylvarant and Tethe'alla people were not happy, things happened and events she rather not remember. People had called her traitor and those who were still loyal to Tethe'alla didn't like the people of Sylvarant. But seeing as that was in the past, she glanced back to her wings which had now become revealed. Colette doesn't reveal them unless she really needs to, but in this case she needed to and although she is eighteen she is still such a klutz.
Colette gave a smile to the girl who had startled her, and quickly shook her head no. "I'm fine really, i've never been that startled for quite sometime". Blinking she glanced to Jade hearing him say special indeed, but his next statement made her pale to the face. Dissect her, oh no no she didn't want that. She was not some guinea pig to be opened up and examined, that would be so scary. Oh where was Lloyd when she needed him, these two people were making her feel a little uneasy. Turning her attention back to the girl, she glanced back to see the men getting up and quite confused on what had happened to them. But as soon as the girl spoke they ran off like frightened little rabbits, guess they knew this girl meant buisness.
Glancing back to Jade as he told the girl of how they were from different worlds, it was so odd. All of them came from different worlds, and yet they are also different types. Hers was two worlds merged, she wondered what this girl's world was like and she of course wanted to know more about Jade's. He then introduced them, and Colette gave another smile the paled scared look gone from her features. Though she still had her doubts about Jade now, what if he really did try and dissect her. No no she can't think like that, it was too scary to imagine. "Yes it's very nice to meet you, what's your name?".
Reaching into the top of her outfit, she pulled out another little necklace. Carved with a key crest on it, this had been something Lloyd had made for her and it had also been a birthday present as well. She tucked it back into her top and pointed to the gem on her neck, and decided to tell the girl what it was. "This gem is actually a cruxis crystal, I was born with it in my hand and I became the seventh and final chosen of my world. So, anyone want to get inside and get warm so we can talk more?".

~ ~ "You never had a chance! Not even one percent!"Rita couldn't help but rolls her eyes at Jade's comment about dissecting the girl. Please, that was a horrible joke and even Rita knew that. He should keep his day job. Anyway, Rita looked at the girl and she seemed a little unease. God, now Rita felt bad. Her love for Blastia freaked out this girl and caused her to fall and reveal her secret. "I'm sorry for freaking you out." [/b] Rita meant every word, for once. Rita turned and looked at the man as he explained that they were from different worlds. So, Rita wasn't really the only one feeling alone. "So your all from different worlds? That's very odd..." Why were all these people appearing on this world? Was their world destroyed? Could it be that they were sent her by some sort of supernatural force? Who knew but this was very odd. Rita was cut from her thoughts as they both introduced themselves. "Well, My name is Rita Mordio, The Great Mage of Aspio."[/b] Rita said proudly. She was proud of her title and everyone on her world knew who she was even before she helped save the world. Before, everyone would run away by the sight of her. Well, no one wanted to get blasted away so they knew not to mess with her. Ah, the good old days. However, those memories were cut short again. The girl known as Colette was giving an explanation on the crystal around her neck. A cruxis crystal? Chosen? Ok, either her life was a fairy tale or she had one hell of an imagination. Well, maybe her world was like that but she could of swore that she read a book about an angel or something like that. It was given to Estelle from the Elder in Yormgen. It was just some fairytale, who cares. "Well, there is an inn by the entrance of the town. We can talk more there."[/b] Rita knew this only because she ran by it before she caused those men to go flying. If there was more of those gang member in the inn, those people were going to feel the wrath of a pissed mage. God, how she hated idiots.[/blockquote]

Jade peered over as Colette heard his words he saw her instantly go pale, though part of him was curious enough the ex-scientist wasn’t the type to do it anymore. “Please think nothing of it I was just teasing” he chuckled and gave a calm wave of his hand dismissing, regardless what Rita thought he wanted Colette to know he was kidding. Ah it was so sad how serious people took him to be. If only Peony could do so? He doubted the man ever would, though didn’t doubt that right about now his dear Emperor would be looking everywhere for him, this drew a small smirk across his lips, amused at the thought however just hoped that the Emperor could hold things together, over all. he gave a faint sigh, shaking his head he looked off into the distance for a little while perhaps hoping that without his gaze on her she may believe it was just a joke, or maybe he didn’t care.
He heard her over when she explained about the ‘cruxis crystal’ as she called it, very curious indeed though he could have gone on about something from his own world perhaps the score and whatnot but honestly he was feeling to lazy at the moment it didn’t feel important to this world, why waste the breath and time? However born with a jewel or not she wished to go inside now and he couldn’t really disagree, though he would like to set out he had no idea where to go or why so he would amuse them and stick around a little bit longer. Why not?
He then looked to Rita and smirked faintly. “seems that way, my I didn’t know there were so many words with intelligent life.” he stated, or at least they seemed intelligent enough, but he left that part out. “The Great Mage of Aspio” Jade pondered aloud then smiled. “A pleasure, you do seem quite skilled” he stated. Hard to say if he was teasing again……or not. He nodded. “though are we sure that any of us have any currency for this world? Though our language barriers might have been altered I am sure our money hasn’t unless we are just lucky enough", he put his hand in his pocket. “though money from another world might be worth something on its own, a lot of people are going to take some hard convincing to believe that, so its best not to speak to much of it to other people as not to gain unwanted attention.” he smirked as if Rita hadn’t gotten enough already. He pulled his hand out with a few pieces of Gald. “ah... well looks like I have very little to begin with.” he gave a faint sigh.

~Come what May, I will always be myself~
Teasing or not she felt a little scared, though maybe she shouldn't worry too much. Besides if he did that he wouldn't find anything out anyway, it all had to do with her cruxis crystal. Colette gave a small nervous laugh to Jade. "Teasing......right, I believe you". She then glanced to Rita and gave her a smile, she didn't have to worry about it now. Colette knew sooner or later her wings would be revealed and there would be no point in hiding them forever. "Oh please, no need to be sorry". She didn't really like it when people said sorry for things, even if it was for simple things. Colette just wasn't expecting the girl to just walk over to her and ask her a bunch of questions about her cruxis crystal. But the blond was curious about this blastia that she had mentioned, was that like a cruxis crystal where the brunette was from. Did it have properties like the cruxis crystal, now she was wanting to ask a million questions.
When Jade mentioned about the different worlds, she got to thinking. What about her world, was it still in one piece or had it been destroyed. Could that be why she was brought here, though that wouldn't make any sense would it. And even if her world had been destroyed she would instantly be able to feel it right, can't an angel sense the crumble of her own world. Glancing to Rita she gave a small nod, agreeing with her. "Although it may be odd, perhaps we were brought here for a reason". What that reason was is still unclear to her, and Colette was determined to know why she was here. As the brunette introduced herself Colette brightened, a mage and a great one none the less. Oh if Raine was here or Genis they would love to meet a fellow mage. "So Aspio is where your from Rita, if I ever find my friends I could tell Raine and Genis about you. They are both mages as well".
Though she wouldn't want to try Raine's cooking, it was horrible. And she hasn't really improved in two years either. And ruins, if there were any in this world Raine would be at them like a moth to a flame she was just that obessed with them. When Rita mentioned an inn near the entrance of the town, and Jade's mention of currency she instantly went to dig around for her pouch of gald. It was tied to her waist since that's where she always kept it for safekeeping, and undid it so she could see how much she had. With her always not doing a good job at work back home, her pay got docked every single week. Opening the pouch she turned it over and quite abit of gald came out onto her hand, wow she didn't even know she still had so much. Guess she must have been saving and not noticed. "Well I have I think 500 gald, will that do?"

~ ~ "You never had a chance! Not even one percent!"Rita was happy to see that Colette was okay. She was worried that her little research mode outburst didn't cause her harm. She reminded Rita of her dear friend Estelle. Rita missed her and the others. They were so close. It was them who made Rita the person she was today. If she had never met them, she would of been in Aspio and might of died when the Tower of Tarqaron rose from under the city. Rita snapped out of her thoughts when they asked about money for the inn.
Rita blinked a bit when they took out Gald. So, they had the same type of currency on their world. Well, anyone who was a traveling mage knew having money was important after all, port towns had the best stuff. Rita reached into her pockets and pulled out two full bag of Gald (2,000 in total.) Then looked into her sleeves and pulled out two bag out of each (This makes 6,000 Gald.) One bag out of her boot, one hidden in her sash, and two more tied to her pants side. This made 10,000 Gald in total. What could she say, she loved to ship and make new inventions.
This should enough gald to stay in that inn for a year or so. But, I think we only needed one bag of Gald. So she placed all the bag where she found them. "What? I like to come prepared just in case of an emergency." [/b] Rita could tell they were starring at her. But, normally, everyone would. It didn't phase Rita much.[/blockquote]

Jade nodded simply. “I am sure that it is enough” he stated of course surprised their currency was the same though honestly the surprises were getting old, he was almost becoming bored with all their worlds had in common, seriously could they be anymore alike? Though doubted one thing, that their world had Fomicry perhaps. Though one never knew. He shook his head and fixed his glasses before his attention was finely gained by young Rita whom was pulling Gald out by the bagful……
An amused smile crept over his lips. “ah well I see that you are financially well off, I will let you pay this time” he stated with a small smile. ‘besides in my age no telling what I may need my money for later” he smiled and nodded quite simply. He folded his arms. “if you don’t mind that is?” he smiled then looked back to Colette. “as you said we most likely were though by human, or any other creature or perhaps object I do not know, and we need to get to the bottom of this, judging by the fact the villages haven’t come and welcomed us with open arms I would assume that they know nothing about it” he stated with a nod as they started walking back towards the Inn after Rita put away all of her bags.
“So, even though it will be hard to do we may need an audience with this world’s ruler or the leader of this area at least, so far I just cannot say much about the landscape of the formation of society, so it best to be careful while asking if we were summoned from a far away world for some selfish reason” he chucked and fixed his glasses again with a teasing smile.

She smiled and put her gald back in her pouch, glad she could at least help in some sort of way. After all they were only going to stay one night in this city right, and in the morning they could go see the person in charge of this city to get some answers. Tying the pouch back to her waist she made sure to double check it was all in there, before turning her attention to Rita. First she saw the mage pull out two bags from her pockets then her sleeves and finally out of her boot. It seemed she had alot more gald than they did, in fact she beat them by alot it seems. Her mere 500 gald was nothing compared to the all the gald which Rita had pulled out, just looking at the bags and if Colette had to take a guess there was enough there to keep them in an inn for quite awhile. "Your certainly are well prepared Rita, i'm impressed". She gave a smile before giving a nervous look to Jade, just how did Rita carry around that much weight.
The nervous smile disappeared as she heard Jade mention that Rita should pay, that was too much to ask especially since they just met her. And besides she had earned all that gald by herself, so she and Jade should pitch in for something at least right. Glancing up to Jade the angel gave a sigh as she finally made her wings disappear, there was no use in keeping them out anymore since she didn't need to use them at the moment. And Jade jad a point, no one from this village had come to welcome them or even peek out of their homes for curious reasons. Maybe because it was nighttime and most of the citizens were sleeping, that could be another reason as to why no one greeted them. "It could be Jade, but I think it's late as well and also none of these people know we're here".
Colette could assume that there had to be someone in charge, a ruler perhaps since this city was so big. Walking behind Jade as she started to head to the inn, Colette glanced back and looked at Rita who was putting all the bags back where she pulled them out from. Shaking her head lightly she coughed again wishing she could just leave this place and find a way home, or as Jade was explaining find the ruler of this city and ask him why they were brought here or at least get an audience with them. And yes it was wise to be nice to whoever ruled here, if you say the wrong thing it could put them in alot of trouble. "When we meet with someone important Jade, we have to have respect. All we want to know is why we were summoned, and for what reason".

~ ~ "You never had a chance! Not even one percent!"Rita kept at least one bag of Gald out. That way, they would have enough Gald. Hell, Rita would pay for the rooms and food. She felt like she should do this. They were nice and they had to put up with her so this is the least she could do. "I was going to pay anyway, it is the least I can do." [/b] Rita said with a smile on her face. Rita felt like helping her new friends. Rita slowly began to wade threw the snow and tried her best to catch up. She wasn't use to the snow. The only time she saw or even walked through the snow was when they traveled through the Blade Drifts of Zopheir. Soon, they were out of the snow and in the town. Just like Rita, the inn was not that far ahead of them. Rita approached the inn and walked inside. Hardly anyone was inside. The only people inside was the owners, a few workers, and two or three customers. Rita walked over to the counter and faced Jade and Colette. "So three separate rooms?"[/b] Rita asked. A simple question, he would let them decide on what rooms they would stay in. After all, she was buying.[/blockquote]

“Three would be nice unless you plan on all snuggling together, though two would suffice as well if the to women would want to share a room for a little while it wouldn’t bother me to be outcast because of my gender” he stated with a shrug, though Rita seemed almost made of gald, there was no telling how long they would be here or if they could get work and prices here were also unknown so the cost of living was most likely different as well.
Well regardless they would now have somewhere warm to stay, and they could always meet with one another in the other room, unless they did want to take different paths from her, in any case Jade seemed rather open to any idea, he didn’t know what he would end up doing here however , they were here, like It or not. Jade’s eyes were looking around , “ah here we go” he muttered walking over to a wall weaving around anyone in the way then walking up close and pushing his glasses up, a framed map was on the wall it looked rather new so he would assume it was mostly up to date he glanced over it and the place that seemed to be snow-covered he would assume is where they were. ‘Koori’ yes not a place from his world.
His eyes scanned the map closely so there seemed to be six main areas on the map. And pondered the closest ones, merely because they would--or he would, anyone really, would have to do a lot of walking if they wanted to go anywhere else, oh except maybe Colette she could fly, though wasn’t sure if she liked company of other odd people or not. He pocketed his hands and walked back towards them expecting to be told where their rooms were to be.

~Come what May, I will always be myself~
How kind of Rita to offer to pay for the room, and even the food. Colette tucked away the small pouch of her gald back where she had it before , maybe once she got out of this frozen place and into a better town or city she could try to find a small job to make some more gald. That's if no one minded having abit of a klutz working for them and if anyone was hiring for that matter, and of course she had to take into mind of what sort of work there was in this strange new world. It seemed they could use mana and their powers here so that meant this world had a mana tree, the angel girl was quite curious to know where it might be located. But ah back to focusing at right now, getting some shelter and rooms to stay in for the night. She followed Jade and Rita through the snow all the way into the main part of the town then entered the inn, making sure to kick any snow or ice off her boots she might have picked up.
Finally warmth oh it did feel so welcoming, she took a moment to take it all in before she heard Rita's question. "Three seperate rooms would be good". Since she was certain Jade would want his own privacy and Rita as well, besides Colette liked to have a room and bed all to herself since she did tend to roll alot in the middle of the night. When Jade spoke up she felt a blush creep up to her cheeks, snuggling all together. He couldn't be serious could he and the mere mention of that would probably set Rita off, but she couldn't be so sure. "I think um.....it would be better, if we all just had our own rooms". Of course Rita was paying and she had the gald, who knows how long they might be stuck here right. And at least this was somewhere warm to stay instead of out there in the cold.
As Rita dealt with the room arrangements, Colette watched Jade as he made his way over to a nearby wall. Walking over to see what he found, bumping into a few stray people and saying sorry she finally made it over to see what looked like a framed map. Her blue eyes glanced over each of the areas listed and found where they were, a place called Koori. There seemed to be six main cities or towns that dotted the areas on the map, which one would be closer to get to first though. As Jade moved to go back where Rita was, Colette remained standing there still looking at the framed map. She didn't want to travel all by herself in this new world, but she also wondered how Rita and Jade would feel picking a destination and heading there all together. Who knows, maybe along the way they would find their friends. She was worried about Lloyd and the others, so if she traveled with these two she had a better chance at finding everyone.
