What can you see, on the Horizon
------------------------------------------------------ Why do the white gulls call Night was falling and Colette seemed to find herself out in the middle of the woods, how did she manage to get all the way out here. Last thing she could remember was a voice on the wind and suddenly she seemed to be pulled from her cozy home to here. Wherever here was that is. The flow of mana felt different to her and she could feel it's fear as well, is that why she had been called here. No there must be another reason why she was brought here, and hopefully the angel would find out that answer soon. Hearing a growl, Colette quickly made her chakrams appear and got into a battle stance. Her expression turned to one of seriousness and as soon as the monster came out from some bushes she instantly attacked, throwing both her weapons right at it's head. Seeing it shake her attack off Colette frowned lightly. "Very well if that's how it's going to be". Her chakrams disappear as he angel wings appear from her back, and she begins to glow. "Forgive me for this, GRAND CROSS". A cross of light appeared under the monster and lifted it skyward, before killing the beast. It disappeared in a pool of dark stuff and soon it was quiet again, Colette seemed to blink for a moment wondering what the heck just happened. She also hoped no one saw her attack otherwise she may scare them away. Glancing up to the sky the blond made her wings disappear before carrying on through the woods looking for a clearing. Finding one she sighed with a smile and started to find wood to make a fire. When she gathered enough, Colette built the wood in a pit and started to try and get a flame. About ten minutes later she finally got one going, sitting on a log she dragged over and just stares into the flame. How come she had to appear in this area all by herself, and how would she know if anyone else she knew made it here safely. Looking up to the sky once more she closed her eyes and said a little prayer, hopefully someone will hear it and come and find her. Opening her eyes she felt her stomach growl and held it, food that was another thing she needed. But what could she cook or even eat, Colette had no equipment on her and it's not like she could make it magically appear. What was she going to do, she was going to starve until morning or at least until someone finds her. If only Genis was here he was the one who carried a pack full of supplies, groaning lightly at her grumbling stomach she stood up and decided to go and find something to eat nearby. "There has to be something, hmmm let's see". As she continued to look around a yell pierced through the night air, it sounded like it came from nearby. There was also growling and then silence. "What was that, maybe I should stay near the fire....". The growls moved further away and complete silence fell over the woods, being the curious type she went to see what happened. The sight she saw when she came upon the scene made her expression turn into one of horror. It was a campsite torn to bit's, there were things everywhere but the person was nowhere to be seen. Feeling her heart start to pound loudly she walked into the camp, her eyes fell upon some food nearby. It was clear the person who was here was not coming back, so saying a prayer for them she took only what she needed including a blanket and ran back to her fire. Sitting down Colette looked at what she took for food, an apple and some things to make a sandwich with. This would hold her through the night at least, and she had a blanket to keep warm. Putting the apple down she made herself a sandwich and started to eat. TAG: Open WORDS: 674 LYRICS: Into the West - Annie Lennox[/blockquote]

He was about ready to burn the forest down. He had always hated traveling in forests, and this trek was no exception to the matter. Forests were dangerous places to get lost. Even though the trees could provide shelter from people, they also could for others who wished to ambush you. Every bush was crawling with some kind of animal that was ready to tear your throat open, and someone was always hiding the trees ready to get the jump on you. Not to mention the amount of broken branches, tree roots, and other stuff that can make you trip. Let's just say this kind of setting was a nightmare to him. The only good thing that came out of it was that it had not rained recently so the ground was about to become slick under your foot at the worst possible moment. Okay, so he's being a little paranoid, but it's better to be wary than clueless.
Besides the fact that he was very much paranoid, he wasn't exactly prepared for the sudden change of scenery. He had not a single supply on his person that would make things a little more comfortable. Granted he didn't need a blanket since he couldn't feel the cold or sleep, and he didn't need food because the mana in the air is enough to keep him going for now. Though if he were to get injured he would have no medical items to treat his wounds and healing spells can only do so much for a person. He's being paranoid again. Speaking of paranoid, it could be contributed to the fact that he had no idea how he managed to get from Tower of Salvation ruins all the way to a forested area. All he could remember was hearing this whispering voice drawing him further away from the ruins. Then he blacked out for a while before waking up to the surroundings of a forest. It was odd and perplexed the angel a great deal, and made him extra cautious of his surroundings. Good news is that he still had his sword and as far as he is aware of he can still preform spells.
Still walking through the forest for what seemed like hours upon hours, he slows his steps as he stops to concentrate his hearing. He could hear a girls voice calling out before a small light appeared in the direction of the voice. The light seemed to be a sort of fire that was lit. That was good since it would cause many animals in the forest to steer clear of it, but for people like him it would only attract them. Figuring he might as well as walk over to see if the person who made the fire might have a single clue as where he is. Walking for a bit to finally make it to the clearing he stops suddenly surprised by the sight before him. It was Colette sitting there by herself on a log next to a fire that she made for herself.
Kratos just couldn't bring himself to call out her name. He did feel guilty for all that he had put the girl through. Shaking his head at those guilty thoughts he places his hand on his hilt. "Chosen." He calls out with a hint of concern in his voice.

What can you see, on the Horizon
------------------------------------------------------ Why do the white gulls call Colette really had no idea where she was, but the flow of mana here was different from the mana which flowed into her own world. All the former chosen could remember was that voice carrying on the wind, then darkness. She had woken up here in this forest with no idea of how she got here. Besides Colette had been home previously and to suddenly appear in a forest was unheard of, she would remember appearing in such a place......wouldn't she. That voice though, who was it that called to her in such a light whisper. Well there wasn't much she could do now was there except travel and hopefully find someone she knew. Already Colette had encountered a beast and defeated it and there could very well be more. With night falling the former chosen had to find some sort of shelter nearby or to see if anyone was camping nearby. But after walking a little more she found nothing but darkness starting creep up on her. Finding a suitable clearing, Colette stumbled around to gather wood and after ten minutes a fire had been started. Great now that she had a fire going she could keep warm, but now she was faced with another problem. Colette wasn't prepared well for this outdoor experience, she had no equipment or anything. That meant no food and no blankets. Genis always handled that sort of thing since Lloyd in the past had always made the poor mage carry everything like he was some sort of pack horse. Sitting on a nearby log she sighed lightly wondering what she was going to do for the rest of the night, her stomach growled lightly. Colette jumped up hearing a yell and felt her heart instantly quicken. A part of her told her to stay where she was but if someone was in trouble she wasn't about to leave them alone. Colette quickly ran towards the sound of the yell hearing growls and snarls, but suddenly there was silence and nothing else was heard. What had just happened, why did the yell just vanish. Hearing something leave, Colette peeked out from behind a bush and saw some bigger creatures leaving what looked like a small campsite. When the coast seemed clear she slowly emerged and walked into the camp with silent steps, just incase those creatures came back. Things had been tossed around here and there and drag marks were on the ground. "Oh that poor person....." Whoever it had been, saying a small prayer for the person who was taken she made her way through the camp and took only what she needed. It would be a shame for all this food to go to waste and to have it eaten by creatures in this wood. The former chosen took some bread, some cheese, tomatoes, and meat along with some fruit and a blanket. Leaving the campsite she headed back to her fire and sat down. Setting the items on the blanket. This was a scary new world she knew nothing of, and she only hoped her friends were okay. Especially Lloyd. If anything would happen to them she didn't know what she would do without them. Little did she know that someone familiar was nearby, but her stomach was speaking more loudly right now then her angel senses. Buttering the bread she cut up some tomatoes since she also took a knife, put some cheese and ham on the bread then put it all together. Picking up the sandwich she took a bite, then jumped hearing the voice. Turning her head and swallowing the piece of sandwich she had chewed and smiled. "Kratos![/blockquote]
