"Ethyos! Now arriving at Ethyos! Watch your step now, ladies and gentlemen!"
Blinking, Guy raised his head to look towards the hollering ferrymen. Were they here already? Twisting his head around to look back onto the boat, the young man could already see groups of people starting to gather on the deck, smiles and excitement growing as the crewmen started securing the ship to a near by dock. He sent a brief smile to a small cluster of people walking by, letting them pass as he pushed himself further into the ship's railing. He'd probably be one of the last people off the boat, if only to be cautious. With all the excitement around here there was bound to be more than just a few pushy people eager to get off be back on dry land again.
Figuring he'd be here for a little longer, the young swordsmen turned to lean over the ships railing, taking in the bustling docks below. There were people lining up and getting ready to leave Ethyos on another boat a couple of docks down, a few smaller personal boats pulling up with more people in between the larger two. Fishermen lined the sides of the dock's or were situated in some of the personal boats, calmly watching the new arrivals and giving the occasional wave goodbye to those who were leaving. It was hard to believe that this was only the beginning of what Ethyos offered to it's visitors. Though a seemingly simple place, there were many things happening, and it would probably be easy to get lost in the bustling crowds as they moved carefully but earnestly towards their destinations.
Peeking over his shoulder to check on what remained of the boats occupants, Guy finally moved from his spot to join the last of the descending traveler's. Throwing a wave of thanks back at the lingering crewmen, Guy slowly made his way through the docks, doing his best to keep to himself and away from any potential feminine contact. Though this was a bit difficult, seeing as everyone wasn't paying much attention as to who they might bump into here. 'I might have gotten a little over my head in this,' he thought while holding back a cringe. The blonde man practically scrambled past a few ladies walking by, trying his best to hold back the panic that threatened to take over him as they missed brushing his side by inches. He was going to die one day doing this, he was sure of it.
After a few less then graceful maneuvers and somewhat subtle dodging, Guy was finally past the worst of it. Letting out a relieved sigh, he stepped aside from the flow of the crowd to take in the area around him, smiling lightly as he did so. It was a little bit more relaxed around this end of the docks, filled with a lot more fishermen and curious onlookers than excited passengers. Content for the moment, Guy let his arm rest idly on the hilt of his sword, contemplating where exactly he should head first for his mini 'vacation' of sorts. Well, if one could take a vacation from searching for fontech anyway...

The sky was mostly a clear, satiny blue save a few, wispy clouds high in the stratosphere (well, more precisely the stratopause, but this isn't science class). It was warm and humid, but the humidity was to be expected. They were on the ocean, after all. However, the salty sea breeze seemed to blow the moisture away, if only for a minute, making it truly a beautiful day. "URRGG. Are we there yet?!" Right on cue. Lottie just had to ruin the serene and relaxing atmosphere. The ivory haired girl was slumped over the side railing of the boat. Her face was tinted green, a visible sign of her internal distress. It had been her first time on a boat and she was just discovering what sea sickness was. Sure, she had heard from the bar stories of old sailors in Kessho, but she never thought much of it. Plus, she was confident that she would never have such a "wimpy" sickness. But, oh boy was she kicking herself in the butt now. She had already lost both her breakfast and lunch over the side of the boat. This is like a living hell...I swear if we're not at port pretty freakin' soon... Just then, Lottie's vulgar bound thoughts were interrupted by the loud, booming voice of the intercom. "Ethyos! Now arriving at Ethyos! Watch your step now, ladies and gentlemen!""FINALLY!" Lottie exclaimed her satisfaction that the boat was finally at port, causing a few curious eyes to focus on her. She didn't care though. All she cared about was getting off this gods-forsaken watercraft. Wanting to get off as soon as possible, Lottie began forcing her way towards were the bridge would be lowered for the people to get off. She heard some people cursing at her as she violently pushed them out of the way, but she paid no mind. She honestly couldn't care less what they thought of her. All she cared about was feeling solid earth underneath her feet again. Lottie was literally the first person off the ship once the bridge was lowered. She thought she might have accidently pushed someone in the water in her blind hurry, but she couldn't be sure as she refused to look back. Once she got a good sixty feet from the boat, she stopped to catch her breath, her back rising and falling quickly as she did so. Oh man, did it feel good to be on solid ground again! In an exaggerated expression of her gratitude for the earth, she dropped down on her knees and spread her arms out across the ground, simulating a hug the best she could. "Oh beautiful ground, I promise I'll never leave you again!" Too involved in her earth worship, Lottie didn't notice as a large man closed in on her, not noticing the rather petite girl on the ground...that is until she felt his foot hit her and heard his surprised scream as he fell. Lottie immediately sat up, confused (and rather angry) as to who had tripped her. People really needed to watch where they were going. Couldn't a girl just proclaim her love for the earth on a crowded port street anymore? The girl gritted her teeth, and looked over towards the person who had fallen over her. "Just who the heck do you think you a-rrrrrrrre..."Lottie fell off that last syllable. It was then that she had noticed the size of the person who had fallen over her. He was huge, at least twice the size of herself, if not more. And it wasn't just fat. Lottie could see the muscles pulsating under his long sleeved shirt as he got up and glared at her. The girl could feel herself flinch under his initial glare. But, who wouldn't? The guy was built like a tank! She gulped, trying to pull together what courage she could muster, and put on the best angry expression she could (although the sweat building on her forehead and the scared look in her eyes didn't really make her look that intimidating). "W-what's the big idea?!" Lottie tried her best to sound angry, but it came out as more of a annoyed whimper. The man wasn't impressed, and let out a small snarl of annoyance as Lottie spoke, causing the girl to flinch again. Okay, okay. Enough of this. She needed to get out of here before she became this guy's next meal! Hastily standing up, she brushed herself off and began to slowly step away from him. "Y-you're just lucky I'm feeling generous today, or else you w-woulda been sleeping with the fishes tonight, tubby!"Lottie's insensitive comments were obviously just making the guy more ticked off, and as he began to stand up, she freaked. Quickly turning tail, the girl began to run in the other direction. At least she knew she was probably faster than this guy! As she looked back to see if he was following her, Lottie was stopped mid-stride as she ran into someone. She was forced backwards, but somehow managed to keep her balance. She rubbed her head, which was a bit dizzy from the sudden stop, and looked up to see who she had run into. It was another man, but this one looked thinner, and less intimidating. Plus, the goofy blond hair wasn't exactly threatening. Lottie would have no problem giving this guy a piece of her mind! "Geeze! What is your problem, man?"credit `` columba of on the edge | [atrb=style,background-color: #010101; opacity: 0.8; -moz-opacity: 0.8; padding: 5px; width: 28%; margin-right: 10px;][atrb=vAlign,top]Lottie! ~ ~ "You never had a chance! Not even one percent!"It was a grand day to be on the open sea, well for everyone but Rita. She didn't mind the weather, no, it was okay for her. Better than the freezing cold. It was just that she hated ships. Last time she was on a ship, they crashed into another ship and guess what. IT WAS A GHOST SHIP!! Yes, a Ghost Ship. Filled with monsters and ghouls that could only been seen in mirrors. Just thinking about that day Rita have chills running down her spine. However, the ride wasn't that bad. It was calm and relaxing except for a loud mouth screaming, 'Are we there yet?!' Her nerves twitched a bit. God, how she hated when people would do that. We were on a boat and she could see the d**n port from here. Was it really necessary to even ask that?! Geez! But she calmed down. The famed Mage was in the far back of the crowd. She hated being in middle due to others smothering her or a wannabe tough guy messing with her and all hell would break loose. Rita was one who would think ahead and try her best to stay out of such situations. Once the call was made about docking soon, the crowd began to move around a bit. But yet again, she heard that loud mouth again. Rita took in a deep breath and calmed down. The boat ride was almost over. The Mage had nothing against the person just that, she couldn't said the outbursts. It reminded her of a little brat back on her world, the all Oh-So-Mighty Karol. But deep down, she knew he was okay person just that he got on her nerves with those stupid names and talking about his guild all the time. As the crowd began to make their way off the boat once docked, Rita eyed the little girl that was making all the noises. She rush through the people, nearly knocking them off the boat. Really? Rita crossed her arms and slowly moved with the rest of the group. Her ears picked up a scream as she stepped foot onto the ground. Some guy had tripped over that girl while...worshiping the ground? What a strange little person. The Mage blinked a bit as she listened to her. Wow, she had an attitude as well. Not bad but she was a coward though as she watched her run away. Whatever. Rita pressed on as she passed the man. But things got even worse from there. The guy, blinded by rage, roughly bumped into her as nearly made her fall. Rita regained her balance and glared at the man. "Hey! Watch where you're going, Hippo Hips!!" The man came to a stop as he slowly looked at her with a very angry face. She returned this look with a glare of her own. She wasn't going to sit around and have him nearly push her down like that without her telling him off. He walked over to her and looked down as her. Sure, he was huge but she dealt with bigger things then this guy. He went on and on about how he was sit and tired of people calling him names about his weight but Rita didn't listen. The guy was even worse than before now and decided to do something no one should do to her, be a pervert. He made fun of her female appearance and said stuff along the lines of, flat chest and things like that. Okay, that was it. Her fist clenched tightly as a red aura engulfed her. "THAT'S IT!!!" She shouted out. The guy blinked as tried to run but it was too late. The young mage fired off one of her famous Fireball spells. The blast sent him flying into the air with a scream. He went soaring through the air and into a dumpster. She dusted herself off and glared at the people. "ANYONE ELSE WANT TO MAKE FUN OF MY APPEARANCE?! " Everyone just turned around and went back to their business. Now, with that said and done, where was that little twerp that started this? She was going to have a friendly word with her as she cracked her knuckles. With that thought in mind, Rita took off to find said girl and give her a piece of her mind.

From where he was standing Guy could easily see the Ivory Tower in the distance. It was hard to miss – what with it's impressive size and stark white coloring against the blue sky. He could head there first for a little sightseeing, though there probably wasn't too much to see. From what he'd heard only the mayor could enter the building itself. That shouldn't have been too difficult of an idea to grasp however, seeing as the tower housed one of the six crystals. Regardless, it'd be amazing to see it from the ground up. Maybe he could ask a few of the locals to see if they knew how high it was or how and when the tower was originally made, too.
During his pondering the young man had become oblivious to his surroundings, back turned to the sea with his eyes glued onto the distant tower. That was bad move on his part, seeing as he'd subconsciously stepped back a little to get a better view of the Ivory Tower through the mass of houses obstructing his view. Almost within an instant the weight of a human body colliding into his made the blonde snap out of his reverie, gasping lightly in surprise as he staggered to keep his balance. “I'm sorr-” The apology died on his lips when Guy looked to see who he had unfortunate chance of stumbling into. He should have known that this situation would eventually come during his travels. It was just when exactly it was going to happen that made him anxious.
It turned out that that moment was now, and upon fully taking in the upset person before him, Guy felt like he had something akin to that of a heart attack. Jerking backwards with a startled yell he fell unceremoniously on his backside. Panting, he stared wide eyed at the young woman, clenching onto the planks of wood beneath his hands with an iron like force. Good gods he had to be more careful around here! Someone was bound to get hurt from one of his explosive reactions - not including him of course. And general objects. They always seemed to suffer the most whenever he was in a town or city. He probably still had a few more merchants to pay off too, but that was a thought for another time. Right now, it sounded like someone else was having a bad day of their own near by.
“THAT'S IT!”
Senses now on full alert, Guy's attention snapped briefly towards the building commotion coming down little ways from where he and the white haired girl were. A large fellow spouting less then pleasant comments at a smaller girl, ranting about something along the lines of her chest measurements or whatever when his screaming came to abrupt halt. Suddenly he went rocketing through the air, landing somewhere behind them with a loud metallic 'BANG'. Looking wide eyed at the smaller figure of the raging girl, Guy had to suppress shiver. Why did all the women he came across have to be so scary? After the girl brought the stunned crowd to their senses with another yell, she gave a sharp turn, glaring in their. 'She's looking at the other man, she's looking at the other man, she's looking at the other man...' Guy repeated to himself, trying and failing to keep calm when the girl in red started marching towards them.
If he wasn't already in a cold sweat he sure was now. Scrambling to his feet, he gave the girl he had initially bumped into a hurried apology, practically babbling out the words in his haste to try and get away. He had to get out of here, now. Turning to bolt from the scene, Guy took several steps before realizing there wasn't any where else to go. They were near the end of the port on this side, with little more then a warehouse and some privately owned dock's. The idea of hiding in the warehouse was a thought that instantly crossed his mind, but judging from the huge lock clasped around the handgrip he was going to have no such luck of finding a hiding place in there. Or any where else for that matter. Crap.
He was so screwed.

Since running into him, Lottie had not taken her eyes off of the blonde man in front of her. She place her hands delicately on her hips and leaned toward the young man ever so slightly, her eyes narrowed. She was already embarrassed enough about what happened with the big lard before. She wasn't just about to let this guy get away so easily. How dare he just let her run into him like that? After all, she was soon going to be the most powerful women in the world. The least he could have done was move out of her way! As the man began to turn around and utter an apology, Lottie began to open her mouth in retaliation. However, she never got the chance, for as soon as the man saw her, he seemed to have a seizure. Lottie stared blankly at him as he hastily jumped away from her and fell to the ground, looking as though he had just seen a ghost.
"Uhhh..." Lottie didn't exactly know how to react, only blinking as she stared at the guy on the ground. She wasn't that scary, was she? She looked down at herself quickly. No, she still looked the same. She wasn't growing scales, and she didn't see any tentacles starting to form. And- Lottie ran her tongue against her teeth. Nope, no fangs either. Just what was this guy's problem, then? Just then, Lottie frowned. He was just making fun of her, wasn't he? Oh, there was no way she was going to let him get away with that! "Wh-" But, the girl was cut off by a vicious yell.
"THAT'S IT!!"

Lottie looked down to see the blonde haired man in front of her staring past her, causing her to whip her head around just in time to see the same guy who had messed with her earlier to be blasted into the air. The ivory haired girl winced as she heard the large bang, signaling that the man had landed. At first, Lottie wanted to cheer and applaud the person who had given that pig what he had coming to him. However, her joy quickly depleted as she got a glimpse of the person who had sent the man flying. It was a girl, a bit smaller than she was. Normally, Lottie wouldn't be intimidated by someone like her but, even from this far away, she could feel the waves of anger coming off of the red-clad girl. Yikes, she sure was glad she wasn't on that girl's bad side! Just then, the other girl turned and started walking right toward Lottie, a vengeful look in her eyes. "Eep!" Lottie let out a quick exclamation of her panic as the girl made her way closer to her and the guy, whom had since gotten up and tried to make a get away unknown to Lottie. He didn't seem to have any luck though, as he wasn't much further from where he started. Giving an uneasy glance back at him, Lottie noticed that he was even more freaked out than she was. He better not have a freakin' heart attack. She thought with a frown. However, she didn't have much time to entertain that thought, as her attention was forced to return to the girl as she closed in. For some reason, Lottie couldn't shake the feeling that she was coming for her. Taking in a short breath, she put on a tough face and balled up her hands in fists. "What do you want?" Lottie snarled at the girl as she approached. Although she was a bit intimidated by the girl, she wasn't about to show it. However, just to be safe, Lottie backed up a bit, so she was closer to the other guy. If the red-clad mage tried anything, she'd just use the guy as a meat shield. Yep, she couldn't see anything wrong with that. What could go wrong? credit `` columba of on the edge[/div] [atrb=style,background-color: #010101; opacity: 0.8; -moz-opacity: 0.8; padding: 5px; width: 28%; margin-right: 10px;][atrb=vAlign,top] Lottie! ~ ~ "You never had a chance! Not even one percent!"Rita's eyes locked on to the girl that started all this. The Mage stopped a few feet from her and was about to speak but was cut off by her. Wait, did this girl really just say that?! This girl was brave, no one would normally speak to her like that and not get a fist in their face or a fireball. Rage began to build up inside of her once again, almost to the point of bubbling over like a pot on the stove. Rita gave the girl a glare as she took a step back from here. "You!" He shouted as she pointed at her. "What's the big idea of starting a fight and no finishing it?! That creep tried to take out his anger on me thanks to you!" Rita was pretty upset. For one, never start a fight if you are just going to run away in the end. And two, never have said person take it out on Rita. The female glared at her as she took a step forward. "And another thing! When we are on a boat and you see shore, never ask, 'Are we there yet?' That crap gets old! Not to mention pushing your way to the front and almost knocking people other! And-" She stopped as her eyes spotted a familiar hair style and color. Her head turned and faced the shivering male. What in the hell? She blinked a bit as she began to walk closer to him. "Flynn? Why in the hell are you shaking and pale white? And what's with that outfit?" Why on earth was Flynn acting like this and not in his armor? Was he on a mission or something? Normally, he was in his blue and white armor along with his sword and shield. But he has only a katana on his side. How strange indeed. Her eyes glanced over to the girl. "I'll deal with you in a second, so don't you move or else." The Mage said as she turned back to the male. But, something about him seem off. Was he really Flynn?

Guy stared shell shocked at the situation unfolding before him. A small part of him relaxed when he realized the girl in red hadn't been focused him, but rather the girl he'd initially bumped into. At the same time, he felt bad for letting the angry girl's attention hone in on the other, rage obviously still lingering around her like an incensed haze. He didn't like sitting back at watching people fight (much unlike a red-eyed glasses wearing man he knew) but judging from what his anxiety riddled brain was able to register from the brunette's comments, this sounded like it had started before he'd even crossed path's with the white haired girl. There was very little chance of him even trying to near those two, anyway. The mere thought of getting in between them was utterly horrifying.
The blonde man didn't have much time to stay relaxed however. Just as suddenly as the girl had stomped over and started yelling at the other female, she was just as quickly turning her attention, but hopefully not her anger, to him. With a flinch and a startled 'ack!' Guy automatically started moving backwards, putting his free hand out in front of him to try and stop the girl from coming any closer. What was she doing?! Not to mention what had she called him? Fin? Flynn? Maybe that was the name of a companion of her's or something? Who or whatever Flynn was, Guy certainly wasn't going to let the girl close enough to try and confirm her suspicions on his identity.
“N-no, stop! Please!” He yelled out, unable to suppress the trembling in his limbs as the girl got even closer. Oh Yulia he might not have much room left to back away into at this rate. The things he would do for a set of gills right now. It was like the more he tried to avoid the chances of coming into contact, the more likely it became for him to get into these situations. It was bad enough he'd nearly choked to death with that accidental run in, and now this? His heart was going to fail on him one day, he was sure of it. Anise could get rich off of any of those bets.
The dock planks groaned slightly as he moved further and further down towards the end, practically panting with anxiety as he mirrored the girl's step forward with another step back. “I-I'm not this 'Flynn' person you're looking f-for!” He tried to reassure her, wishing for anything to make her stop moving closer and just give him some space. Even if it was only enough to let him calm down and breath he'd be satisfied. Honestly, maybe this vacation idea hadn't been so great after all.

Dang, this girl was scary. Lottie was sure she had quite a few years on the girl, but she was still intimidated. There was just something about this girl that made Lottie want to turn tail and run. But, she couldn't do that. She already did it once today. There was no way she was going to give into her weakness twice in one day. However, she still felt herself jump when the red-clad mage addressed her, causing her to tense up her muscles and stand up straight. As the girl yelled at her for abandoning that fight earlier, Lottie could feel her face drop into one of disgust. She just had to mention that, didn't she? And just as she was beginning to put that embarrassing part of her day behind her. "Y-yeah?" Was the only thing Lottie could stammer out as the girl continued ranting at her. How was it her fault that this kid was just in the wrong place at the wrong time? She wasn't about to be that guy's lunch just so this chick could have a peaceful day. And then she began talking about the boat. So, she was on that hell vessel too? However, she didn't complain about the ship as Lottie though she would. Instead, all she did was complain about Lottie. She was basically scolding her like she was a child. At this point, Lottie had a complete change in character and demeanor. This embarrassed her, and a small blush came to her face. However, instead of showing her embarrassment, the ivory-haired girl tried to hide it with anger, and she scrunched up her nose in response. Well, it wasn't her fault that she was too busy puking her dang guts out to realize how close they were to shore! All she could see was that they were still on the water. This girl was pinching Lottie's very last nerve. No one embarrasses Lottie Luckett, the future god of the world, and gets away with it! "Look-" But Lottie was once again cut off by the mage who didn't seem to hear her as she now had her attention turned towards the shivering man behind her. Oh yeah. Lottie had almost forgotten about him. He hadn't really done anything but stand there shaking like a leaf on a windy autumn day, so it wasn't surprising that the dim-witted girl had forgotten about him. He was starting to look really pathetic, especially when the other girl started walking towards him, calling him by a name. She almost felt bad for him... almost. It was obvious even to her child-like brain that this guy didn't know this kid. Either that, or he was just really, really scared of her, which didn't seem like too big a stretch. Geeze, this guy sure was a wuss, wasn't he? Suddenly, her thoughts were interrupted as she heard the girl address her again, telling her not to move. This really angered Lottie. Now she was telling her what to do?! No one, not even the great goddess Iya, told Lottie what to do. A huge scowl formed on the ivory-girl's face as she felt her hands tighten into fists. So, after all that embarrassing, she now expected Lottie to just wait there patiently to be addressed again? Oh, hell no. If a fight is what she wanted. A fight is what she was getting. Roughly shaking her long right sleeve, she dislodged the dagger which was concealed in it and grasped onto it tightly. It glowed a bright red as Lottie began channeling her energy into it, soon causing it to burst into flames. However, the flames didn't seem to bother her as she glared over at the other girl. In one swift movement, Lottie jumped high into the air and tossed the dagger down at the ground between the other girl and the trembling man. However, a dagger was still flaming in her hand as she touched back to the ground again for she had quickly made a copy of the weapon before throwing it down. Now that she had made herself known again, the white-haired girl began to speak. "Look here, girlie. Nobody tells Lottie Luckett what to do, especially someone like you." After that, she quickly looked at the guy, motioning to him with her free hand. "He obviously doesn't know you or even want to know you, so just leave "Blondie" alone and deal with the bigger problem. Me!" There she went again, thinking she was better than anyone else. Lottie raised her dagger, pointing it towards the red-clad girl as she got prepared for battle. It didn't cross her childish mind that starting a fight with the person who sent the guy she ran scared from earlier flying probably wasn't the best idea. Let alone, this was a crowded port, and there were people around who could get hurt in the cross-fire. Lottie had a one track mind and once she decided on something, there was no talking her out of it.

~ ~ "You never had a chance! Not even one percent!"Rita watched the guy shake like a scared puppy. What was wrong with him? Was it her or something else? Well, whatever the reason was, this person claimed to not be Flynn. She lets out a sigh as she took a few steps back away from the guys. "Sorry about that, I thought that you were a friend of mine." She explained. "I mean, you have the same looks and hair style, you look like his twin or something." A smile formed on her face at the thought of a Flynn clone. Yuri would have his hands full with that one. The Mage began to calm down slowly. The rage within her began to settle down. Yelling at that girl and speaking her mind kinda helped. It was a great way to relieve stress, well, that and blasting someone to the nearest moon. But she began to think though. Why was this acting like that. Her researcher mode kicked in as he looked at the male from the spot she moved back to. Shaking like a leaf, scared, pale, cold sweat - was he scared? Fear could come from many things like Rita's attitude, spiders, Rita's attitude, water, or Rita's rage. Her thinking was cut off sadly when that girl threw a flaming knife to the ground in between her and the male. Rita wasn't phased by this as she began to talk. There it was again, her rage building quickly this time. Rita's listened to the nagging and touch guy act. Okay, that was it! The nerve above her eye brow twitched as she began to get mad. "Okay, you want to start a fight with me?! HA! You just made a BIG mistake!" She shouted. Rita took a stance as blue colored mana began to appear around her. "Blah blah blah..SPLASH!" She chanted as he jolted her the side. Normally, mages would have to say the incantation in order to cast spells, but if you were as good as Rita, you don't need them. Under the girl, the same spell seal appeared and in seconds, a blast of water erupted. Rita and the male wouldn't get wet due to the girl being in the middle of them and the distance she put herself from him. She crossed her arms and glared at the girl. "Keep this up and next time, I'll blast you away like that idiot that had the nerve of picking a fight with ME!" Oh yeah, she meant it too.

It took a moment for Guy to realize that the girl in red had stepped back, his hand still out in front of him as if to try and stop any more potential danger (i.e., her walking even closer) that could come his way. When it finally clicked in his brain, slowly, albeit a little warily, the blonde's hand retreated to his side, unable to suppress a sigh of relief as a small piece of his fear dissipated with it. He wasn't entirely out of the woods yet, but being able to win even a tiny bit of personal space was good enough for the moment. At least the shaking in his arms and legs had stopped, even if his fingertips and feet still had a prickling numbness to them.
"Sorry about that, I thought that you were a friend of mine. I mean, you have the same looks and hair style, you look like his twin or something."
“Yo-cough-you don't say,” Guy replied with a strained laugh, running a gloved hand through his hair in an act to try and recover what he had left of his dignity. He didn't get that very often. Not that he was a very unusual looking fellow, but it just wasn't an everyday occurrence when a person would come up to you and mistake you for someone else. That is, unless you were... Guy frowned, rubbing the back of his neck irritably at the touchy reminder. No, there shouldn't be any more potential of that happening again. Not on his watch at least. Rolling his shoulders back, Guy gave the brunette another awkward smile, though this expression was noticeably less tense then before. “Your friend must have good taste then.” He said with a joking tone, trying to picture a person with whom he might share a similar appearance. Eh, it wasn't really coming to him.
The peace among the odd group of three didn't last for very long, as no sooner did the swordsman blink did a dagger suddenly land in between the two – one that was on fire no less. Somehow this didn't startle him as much as the earlier collision he'd had with the white-haired girl did - something that Guy wasn't sure was a good or bad thing. Regardless, the man instinctively swept out with the sheath of his sword, dislodging the flaming weapon from the now sizzling wooden dock plank and into the near by sea. That could have gone from bad to worse far too quickly for his liking.
"He obviously doesn't know you or even want to know you, so just leave "Blondie" alone and deal with the bigger problem. Me!"
Well, she was right there. From the looks of things Guy probably knew this girl as much as the dagger wielding one did, but... wait a minute? 'Blondie'? Really? And here he thought he was introducing himself too much already. Oh well, the last thing he needed to be worried about was these ladies knowing his name. Instead, he really needed to get them to stop fighting. Or, if that couldn't be done, to try and convince them to take it somewhere else. They had already attracted enough attention from his less then subtle reactions to their close proximity making, and already people were looking on with unease and fear as the two girls started to square off. No, this was not about to happen here. Not with innocent bystanders around.
The girl in red was fast though, having already conjured a move that sounded and looked quite akin to one he'd seen Jade use before. A geyser of water shot up from underneath the dock planks from where the white-haired girl – 'Lottie', is that what she'd said? - was standing, causing a shriek of surprise to cry out from the near by crowds. Clenching his teeth and hoping the other girl hadn't taken on the full brunt of the blast, Guy took a step forward, bracing himself as he did so. He wasn't quite steady enough to reach out and try to grab the brunette's shoulder (nor did he have that much of a death wish), so he'd have to ease himself into trying to step between the two – even if it meant physically.
“Hey, if you've got to fight somewhere, don't do it here! What that man did might not have been right, but innocent people may end up getting in the cross-fire if you keep doing something like that here. So either calm down or take it somewhere else.” Guy's voice, while firm, was calm and gently pleading, eyes locked steadily onto the two females. Honestly he'd rather the two not fight at all, but sometimes letting off a little steam while fighting wasn't all bad - and from the looks of things these two might need it. But that didn't mean they had to endanger others, or the port for that matter, if they felt the need to relieve themselves of some distress stemmed from some idiot. Plus, if they kept this up here with the growing crowd of spectators, they could very likely get in some pretty deep trouble with the local authorities. Definitely not something he wanted to get involved in.
