The warm globe of the sun slowly lowering itself on the horizon. Twilight was settling in the area as the sun and moon exchanged their hellos and goodbyes. An unfortunate fate for the two to never meet, but the twilight does it's best to make their greetings as wonderful as the last. Shadows grew at the lowering sun and bathed themselves on the many objects. Rarely did this place change as creatures have left the area for newer and lest battered places as this. Yet the buildings and statues wait patiently for when a traveler happens to come upon their resting place. As they always did, and to their happiness a weary traveler gazes upon the place with scrutiny.
The buildings could provide shelter from the heat of the area and any wild animals that roam the area at night. Not to mention the fact that bandits and monsters must roam the grounds at night, but he wasn't sure what could be inside the place. Walking past a statue with moss and plants grappling onto the stone he looks at it to see if anything had disturbed the statue. Slowly walking past many of the ruins of this place, he notes that it's been quite a while since any humanoid creatures have prowled this area. His next plan of action is to search the building as much as he can and decide from there whether it would be safe enough to rest there. Perhaps to even get a bath. The Angel gives himself a whiff and scrunches his nose at the smell. He smelled horrible, and even though he knew no one to impress with cleanliness he thought it would be better to get cleaned then roam around smelling like a walking waste. He had never been fond of getting dirty, so it was no surprise that getting clean would be his first priority after settling.
Walking under the stone arch, his wine colored eyes roam the area with caution as his left hand keeps a hold of his sheath for quick use. His thumb pushing the sword forward to keep it loose and easy to take out. After scanning the place for a few good minutes, he nods to himself in satisfaction that the place is safe for himself. Dropping his bag in the middle of the floor and spreading out a blanket to lay on. He takes off the belt to his sword and discards the belt onto his bag. Carrying the sword in his hand as he heads off in hopes to find somewhere he can take a decent bath.
Finding the appropriate place, to only be a room away from the main area, he leaves the door open as he places his sword next to the stone bath. It was a rather large thing and took up most of the room. If anything, this building seem to be owned by a noble family or something, because most homes didn't have a large stone bath. It was about five feet in length and four in width, and come up to two feet in height. Heading off to get water and a bucket he manages to get the stone bath filled fully and with the the help of fire magic make it nice a warm. Not that it mattered since he couldn't tell how hot it was, but hot water cleaned the body better then cold. Stripping off his clothing he had thought to get another bucket of water so that he could wash his clothing in. Hanging them up to dry and had his mercenary outfit as a spare for when he was done with the bath. Lit a few candles that he had found so that he could see what he was doing and got into the bath.
Now he may not be able to feel the warmth of the water, but he body felt so much better after stepping into it. His muscle felt relaxed and how the dirt made his body feel filthy seem to slowly go away. Scrubbing his body with the water for a few minutes he eventually leans back and sets the back of his head on the side. He probably shouldn't let his guard down, but everyone needs to once in a while. Right? Of course! And so that's what Kratos did. He closed his eyes, and let the warm water wash away his weariness and fatigue. | [cs=2] |

The sounds of footsteps slowly echoed through the ruins a bit. The faint sound was the only thing that could be heard sadly. The ruins were empty, void of life of any kind. Sure, their were plants growing from under the stone floor but their were no signs of animals or civilization. Maybe over 1000 years or so maybe but not in this time period.
The replica sighed a bit as he rested his hand behind his head as he scanned the area. Nothing seemed to be here, but what was here? Where in the hell was he anyway? The red head awoke in the middle of these ruins. The only thing he remembered was fading away after fighting Van. Was he dead? Was this hell? Nah, if this was hell, Natalia would have been here by now.
Luke sighed mentally as he turned a corner. He had been roaming around for what seemed like days. Everything looked the same no matter how many time he turned corners or walked into rooms. Just the thought of this place being a maze made his ruffle his hair out of frustration. God, this was worse then the time he was trying to find his way to one of the many Sephiroths on his world.
However, the faint glow of some source of light appeared from a room nearby. Wait, was someone here? Did someone live here? Luke slowly and quietly made his way to the chamber. The faint sound of water filled his ears. The boy slowly opened the door and walked inside. That, was the worst mistake he could have done in this life.
His face light up like the morning sky. A deep red blush formed on his cheeks as his eyes widened. Luke was stunned as he gazed upon a man bathing. What in the hell?! Why would anyone take a bath in this place. What was he to do now? The boy stood there, dumbfounded and speechless. God, what a great way to end the day after waking up on a new world.

No. It echoed a peaceful silence that he hadn't heard in a long time. It was a grateful sound to his ears that always heard the screeching of steel and the hisses of mana pounding against something. He felt like he was floating in the clouds, and thinking about it for a second caused the four thousand year old man chuckle at such a thought. Perhaps he was getting a little too poetic on he felt right now, but to say it plainly. He was enjoying this moment of just relaxing very well. So much that in all his years, and no doubt scold himself for not hearing the footsteps of someone approaching the chamber. So it was only after a minute later of Luke appearing that he finally senses someone watching him.
Flickering his eyes open to stare at the ceiling with a perplexed feeling of being watched, he quickly rises from the water to turn around and see the red hair staring at him. How long had that boy been there? He didn't even hear him, and that is when he mentally cursed at himself for letting down his guard that much. His wine eyes flickered from the boys green eyes to his sword. Registering that he had a weapon with him and quickly seeing that the boy was dumbfounded by the naked Kratos he took that chance to head for his sword. Making a fast lunge for his sword resting against the basin he grabs the handle and flicks the sheath at Luke. Using that to distract Luke as he grabs for something to cover his privates, which happens to be the clothes he was going to change into, and makes sure to get good footing outside of the bath.
Flicking an auburn hair from his face, he points his sword in an offensive position. His eyes narrowed in a manner that dared Luke to try anything funny. "Don't move, or I won't hesitate to cut you down." Kratos says in a bit of a growl. He felt rather humiliated to be in this state, but he couldn't let such an emotion decide his actions. He just needs to get into some clothes and he wasn't going to start putting them on in front of Luke. Not only would that be stupid since his hands would be too preoccupied to defend himself, but that's just...no..Thinking of what he should do next, he walks towards Luke with his sword pointed at the kid as he quickly grabs the edge of the door with his foot and slams it shut in Luke's face. Putting his back against the door he sighs a little and looks around to place his sword to get dressed. In a matter of minutes, with all his straps buckled and his clothing in a neat manner he looks towards the door with a suspicious manner. Wondering if the kid was still hanging around the door or not, and grabs his sword. Slamming the door open with his sword in the ready looking around for Luke.
Maybe he'll cut the kid's head off, but even though he was rather angry it was kind of his fault. For dozing off, leaving the door open, and not quickly taking a bath.

Luke was too stunned to even react to the sheath. His reflexes did kick in as it slammed into his face. The boy fell backwards and hit the ground. He was dazed as he laid there on the ground. What had he gotten himself into now? Luke slowly got up and stood in the door frame, hold his head. As his scenes came to, Kratos quickly slammed the door in his face. No, the sheath wasn't enough. He had to slam it, IN HIS FACE!
The replica fell back again as he landed back down on the floor. His face wasn't red from the guy anymore. No, now it was because of the barrage of hits dealt to his face. "And here I thought Tear was tough on me."[/b] He muttered to himself, a bit dazed still. Luke now had a feeling this is what Dist went through when Jade needed answers from him back in the hotel.
Luke slowly stood up again but away from the door this time. No way wad he going to get hit again. He dusted himself off and pulled a cobweb or two from his long red hair. Great, now he needed a bath. Geez, why in the hell did he had to wake up in some ruins. Why not a city or a hotel for once. Well, Luke never had such luck before in many of his travels with Rain, Guy, Jade and the others.
Before he could do anything, The door was kicked open. The sudden sound and the sight of the man with his sword in hand caused the boy to jump back. He stood there, nervously against the wall. "H-Hey! Look! I'm sorry for walking in on ya! I didn't mean to! I thought someone was here not bathing in some ruins!"[/b] He said trying his best not to freak out too much.

One thing was for sure, the kid didn't have the greatest reflexes. So the four thousand year old seraph wasn't going to stress over the kid for much. Though the comment the kid made afterwards was a little confusing, but he decided it wasn't something that he should really think over. Tear sounded like a woman's name, and he knew how violent they could get. At the very least, he had grabbed a candle from the room before to use.
Looking at Luke with a stoic look on his face, he tries to determine for once and for all if the kid was any threat really. He had long red hair and clothing that showed off his stomach. Summarizing that Luke seemed clueless to the area could say that he wasn't from around here. Which means he couldn't ask for the nearest town cause Kratos already knew this wasn't Aselia at all. He's been around every place that could be imagined and the forest he was in before looked like nothing of the ones he's been too. Not only did it make creepy whispering noises during his time there, but the monsters were unfamiliar to him. Though the moment that he kicked the door open, Luke jumped at the sight of the man and began to make a sort of apology.
Kratos only looked at Luke with an uninterested look on his face, that soon changed by the end of his sentence. Kratos couldn't help but gave a look that replied back 'and yet you still stared at me?' He changed his expression again and placed his usual stoic look back on. His eyes not wavering from Luke as if he was trying to figure something out. Why would someone like him be wandering around in a ruinous place like this? He could be a traveler, but the only thing the kid had was a sword and the clothes on his back. Either he was a horrible traveler or something happened to make him lose his items.
Looking away finally after a while of staring at the kid, he turns his gaze away to his discarded sheath on the floor. Slowly walking towards it to pick it up and slide his sword back into it. His left hand holding onto the sheath as he looks off down the hallway away from Luke. "Children shouldn't be wandering in dangerous places." Kratos says matter a fact kind of way. Turning his head to look at Luke again. Giving off a message that Luke should probably explain himself and better be able to protect himself because Kratos didn't want to have to worry about someone else. Though Kratos was calling Luke a child, who looked to be in his twenties and Kratos looked no older than his twenties as well, but being four thousand years old lets you be able to call anyone a child really.
Thinking that should be enough of a warning for Luke to take care of himself properly, Kratos brushes past Luke to head back to the main area of the ruins. The sun getting closer to disappearing in the sky as Kratos is slowly enshrouded in the sunlight. The candle in his hand soon to be the only light in the whole building at this rate. Setting down the candle next to his stuff he sits down and gets comfortable. Sitting down with one knee up with his arm resting and his sword leaning against. Good news he didn't need to sleep, so nothing could really sneak up on him, but he has the tendency to get his attention strayed towards something. His mind begins to wander towards Luke, but he shakes it from his mind. The kid's not his problem and that's that. Now if Luke wanted to stick around, Kratos couldn't really complain about it since he didn't own the place.

Luke slowly calmed down as he watched the man grab his sheath off the ground and slid his sword into it. Okay, thank god, he wasn't going to kill him. But that look he was giving him said differently. Chills ran done the replica's spine. God, he was scary. The boy relaxed slightly but noticed the change in his look. It was like, 'even though you didn't mean to, why did you still stare?' The image appeared in his mind as his face blushed a bit but quickly turned his head.
His eyes glanced at the man as he spoke to him. Child? He was no child! Why did everyone say that to him. A disagreeing look formed on his face as he crossed his arms. "I'm not a child."[/b] He said and sighed a bit. "But, I am sorry though....I kinda just woke up here."[/b] He explained as he scratched the back of his head a bit.
Luke blinked a bit as he noticed the man was walking away. Okay, he knew that the guy was scary but the boy couldn't make it alone. Luke ran and quickly caught up with him. They were in the main chamber and it was starting to get dark. Making his way over to the man but keeping his distance though, Luke looked at the man. "I...I now we got off on the wrong foot but...maybe I can stay here for the night or so. I mean...yeah..."[/b] Luke asked as he looked down a bit.

Now that seemed a little fishy to Kratos. He wasn't sure if the replica was telling the truth, but thoughts filtered in his mind. It felt rather familiar with how he just randomly woke up in a forest, was there a similar situation with Luke? There would be no point in just pondering by himself about since asking would be a lot easier. His thoughts didn't go so far when he heard the footsteps of Luke as the kid came towards him. Of course he kept his distance with Kratos, most people did, and began to ramble about not having anywhere to stay. He kind of sounds like a pansy.
Well he couldn't really deny the kid to stay and perhaps they did get off on the wrong foot. Kratos didn't look at Luke when he appeared and continued to look away with a thoughtful look on his face. He didn't make any indication that he had heard Luke, but after a few seconds of thinking he extends his hand out to show that Luke take which ever seat he would like. "Kratos Aurion" Kratos says finally without looking before turning his attention back to Luke. "That's my name"
Waiting for Luke to get settled, he finally decides to ask. "You said you just woke up here, what did you mean by that?" Kratos asks. If he's right, then maybe this isn't Aselia and the both of them somehow ended up here by some unknown force. Maybe he was over thinking this a little, but he could tell this wasn't Aselia. The stars are so different from home, and he just had this gut feeling telling him that this isn't Aselia. Right now he had too many questions that needed to answered, and there is just no one to answer them for him. So he might as well as start small.

There was a moment of silence when no one spoke. Luke stood there, rubbing the side of his arm a bit as he watched the male not even paying attention to him. In his mind, he thought that this was just going to be a waste of his time and he wouldn't really care about him. But that all changed when he spoke. Luke blinked a bit as he said his name. The replica nodded as he watched Kratos gesturing him to take a seat. Well, he guessed he wasn't that bad at all.
The red haired boy sat down on the opposite side of him, that way they would face yet other. However, he did keep his distance a bit. He didn't want to get to close or something and risk getting hit again in the face. "You probably don't care but I'm Luke Fon Fabre."[/b] He said as he slowly scratched the back of his head a bit. The man seemed to be the type that didn't really care much about people or their names, sorta reminded him of Asch in a way just not as rude and such a loud mouth.
Luke blinked a bit at his question though. What did he mean? It was self-explanatory. "I really don't know, I just randomly woke up in these ruins. I remember everything before ending up here just to how, I have no idea."[/b] The replica explained to Kratos. The last thing he remembered was winning the fight against Van and was fading away after freeing to Lorelei. Luke looked at his hand and began to think. Why wasn't he dead? His time was up after the fight but who was he still here? This didn't make sense at all.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,10,true][atrb=style,width: 500px; background: #FFFFFF url(http://i.imgur.com/YGDXc.png); -moz-border-radius: 10px; border-radius: 10px; -webkit-border-radius: 10px; border: 2px solid #EAEAEA,bTable][cs=2] lock him up and throw him in a cell He didn't really do it and you know full well Kratos isn't that violent, so Luke had no worried about getting hit by the Seraph again. His reflexes automatically make him hit whatever seems to threaten him, and Luke isn't threatening right now. So he was a little amused when the boy decided to sit down in front of him with a good few distance between the two. He could have swore that he was watching the boy flinch every so often, but it could be trick of the shadows. When Luke introduced himself Kratos mused on the name. Luke fon Fabre, sounds like a very noble name. He must have come from a high class family, which makes sense with how much of a useless hunk of meat he is. Well Kratos is an exception to the 'nobles are weak' rule since he lived during a warring era.
What's more, he was interested in why Luke thought he didn't care what his name was. If he didn't care he wouldn't have offered his name first of all. It's part of being polite. It also irked him a little that people thought he didn't care, but that is what happens when you try to play apathetic all the time. It's not that he didn't care, it just that he doesn't try to pry on things.
Kratos crossed his arms as Luke explained in a very obvious manner that what he said before was rather self-explanatory. "It's not the waking up part that I care about, it's the why and from where you came before you woke up in the ruins." Kratos says coolly looking at Luke. If he's thinking the right thing, this place called 'Suiren' is where they winded up from their own worlds. Judging by the name, he could safely say that they're not from the same world. People don't use fon between their names to extinguish their heredity, and he's never heard of any people by the name of Fabre. He's been around long enough to know the social standings in Tethe' Alla, even if they weren't his jurisdiction.
"Where we are is a world called Suiren, and I believe neither of us are from the same world." So why are we here anyway? Kratos says getting to the point quickly and musing to himself afterwards. Once again he has so many questions and yet he just can't seem to get them answered. It's safe to say that Luke is only bringing up more questions for the Seraph, and if this keeps going. He might just get buried by them all.
